Script Doctor reads your characters best when you tell it who they are before you start. Got a photo reference in your head? Don't upload it. Describe it instead: build, hair, wardrobe, age, vibe, any quirks that make them them. A few sentences per character now saves you a cleanup job later, and it's what keeps the Character Brief output consistent scene to scene.

Voice memo transcripts, half-formed notes, thoughts you talked into your phone at 2am: Script Doctor was built for exactly that chaos. What actually trips it up isn't the mess, it's vagueness. "A guy walks into a bar" gives it nothing. "A burned-out delivery driver walks into a dive bar after the worst shift of his life" gives it a scene.

If you have a specific tone or piece of logic the script needs to hit exactly, don't leave it to Smart Mode's defaults. Switch to Advanced Mode and answer the Logic and Tone questions yourself. Save Smart Mode for fast first passes and testing ideas.

Already know you're shooting in Runway, Veo, or Kling? Select that platform in Scene Breakdown instead of defaulting to Universal. Each one reads camera direction and dialogue differently, so picking the right one upfront means less hand-editing your prompts later.

Have a reference image for a scene? Use Image-to-Video/Ingredients mode so Script Doctor doesn't hand you a conflicting visual description. Starting from nothing? Text-to-Video mode gives you the full description you need.

Scripts save automatically to your browser, but they're not tied to an account yet. That means they won't follow you across devices, and clearing your cache clears your work with it. Copy anything important into a Google Doc or your writing tool of choice until account-based saving ships.
